A further aspect of the Sfera Project is the total graphic package [profile]
proposed by Swedish graphic designer Markus Mostrom, noted for the delicate transparency
of his touch.

The Sfera Project graphic package [profile] comprises two components: the leaf
pattern and a corresponding logotype. CKR's leaf pattern created as the main motif
for the Project is strongly graphic in character, so perhaps it was only natural
that this beautiful pattern should bring the overall concept into high relief.
It is used throughout, from tiny accents on namecards to the cladding of the
building facade.
Moreover, as leaf relates to tree, treeforms became the inspiration for our logotype.
No mere logo in usual sense of the word, it incorporates elements both constant
and
variable. If we consider Sfera as a tree, then the trunk and branches correspond
to core functions of the building and its branching out into other various activities.
Thus the logotype will vary according to the particular purposes and circumstances
of each art and design exhibition, etc.
The uniqueness of the logotype lies in the broad adaptability of its component
parts, which together with the leaf pattern remains strikingly simple yet freely
applicable, making for a bold contemporary impact. |
