Sfera has been involved in the number of projects at home and abroad such as Milan Salone and Maison & Objet, and introducing our intensive activities in a wider extent.
Designed by and produced under direction of Sfera, we bring to you Hitoshi Morimoto of Okayama with his Bizen ware vases. Born to a kiln owning family, Hitoshi was trained extensively in the Mino ceramic ware style. From flowers of elegance that brighten special occasions, to wildflowers with a simple beauty for everyday enjoyment, we present you with our versatile flower vessels that change their expression to bring out the very best of the flowers it holds. The vessels, fired long and slow by what is known as a ‘climbing kiln’ – activated only a few times per year – retain in every corner a distinct warmth and unconfined freedom that is also in the spirit of their creator.
