Metalworking predates history, which is why the traditional metal craftsmanship known as Tankin is said to be as old as time itself. The designs made by this technique are crafted from sheets of pressed metal that are carefully cut, shaped and polished by hand. Each product is unique, formed by a rhythm of regular marks as the craftsman's hammer skilfully beats the metal into shape.
